Earthquakes can be triggered manually through a permission-controlled earthquake menu or configured to occur randomly over time. For random earthquakes, you can define minimum and maximum time intervals, and the script will automatically choose a random time between them to schedule the next quake.
Scheduled earthquakes persist through server restarts. If the server restarts before a quake occurs, the script remembers the scheduled time and continues normally once the server comes back online.
Each earthquake varies in intensity and duration unless specific values are selected manually through the menu. Higher intensity earthquakes create stronger shaking, more movement, and increased chances of players and NPCs falling over.
During an earthquake:
Whether you want occasional earthquakes to create organic RP moments or frequent seismic activity for an apocalypse-style server, the experience is fully customizable to fit your server’s atmosphere.
Now integrated with Big Daddy Scripts BigDaddy-EAS (Emergency Alert System), allowing automatic EAS broadcasts when earthquakes occur. Integration is completely optional — the earthquake system functions independently without the EAS script.
Also integrated with the Big Daddy Disaster Hub for control over all Big Daddy Disaster scripts.
