What is it?

Keep vehicles where players leave them. BigDaddy-VehiclePersist automatically saves networked vehicles after a player enters them, preserving their location and supported vehicle properties across resource and server restarts. Missing tracked vehicles return when players approach their saved location.

Key Features

  • Automatic tracking — Begins saving vehicles when players enter them.
  • Persistent positioning — Saves world position, rotation, and heading.
  • Vehicle customization restoration — Preserves plates, modifications, extras, liveries, paint colors, wheels, tint, and lighting settings.
  • Condition restoration — Saves health, fuel level, dirt, lock status, tyre damage, missing doors, and broken windows.
  • Trailer tracking — Captures attached networked trailers for persistence.
  • Proximity-based respawning — Restores missing vehicles near players using configurable distance and delay settings.
  • Configurable exclusions — Blacklist vehicle classes, models, or plate text.
  • Optional record cleanup — Remove outdated records after a configurable number of days.
  • Adjustable limits and intervals — Configure vehicle capacity and save frequency.
  • Automatic database setup — Creates the required persistence table.
  • Integration exports — Allow other scripts to remove vehicles from persistence when intentionally deleting them.

Requirements

  • A FiveM server with OneSync enabled.
  • A configured MySQL-compatible database.
  • One supported database resource: oxmysql, mysql-async, or ghmattimysql, started before this resource.
  • No ESX or QBCore framework required.

Integration note: Garage, impound, and vehicle deletion scripts must call the provided forget export when permanently removing tracked vehicles; otherwise, those vehicles can respawn. Trains are excluded by default.

NOTE: SOME OF THESE SCRIPTS ARE STAND-ALONE FIVEM SCRIPTS AND SOME SUPPORT FRAMEWORKS. Please see the compatability chart at wiki.bigdaddyscripts.com for information on compatibility with frameworks and other scripts.
