Big Daddy OffRoad brings terrain-sensitive driving to your FiveM server. Sand, mud, grass, gravel, and forest ground affect traction and how deeply each wheel sinks, while bogging adds resistance and reduces available power. Rain makes soft ground more demanding, and configured snow weather adds another grip penalty.
Vehicle choice and setup matter. Off-road tires, all-wheel drive, tire size, suspension, weight, and configurable vehicle profiles influence soft-ground capability. Give purpose-built trucks an advantage over street cars, tune individual surfaces and map areas, and use the live diagnostics HUD to see what is happening beneath each wheel. Nearby players receive synchronized sinking visuals, and the resource works standalone without a framework or database.
Key Features
Per-wheel terrain detection: Reads each wheel's ground material and contact state, including mixed surfaces beneath the same vehicle.
Progressive sinking and recovery: Wheels settle into configured soft surfaces and recover as conditions change. Low-speed throttle increases digging, while speed reduces target sinking depth.
Surface-dependent grip: Configurable traction for sand, dirt, mud, grass, gravel, rock, and road surfaces.
Bogging resistance: Sinking can reduce available torque and add horizontal resistance.
No ESX, QBCore, Qbox, SQL provider, inventory, or targeting resource is required. Weather effects use the game's current weather; a separate weather script is optional.

This script runs on the CFX Mono V2 runtime which is still listed as BETA and will show warnings in both the client and server consoles. We have tested and found the V2 runtime to be FAR more efficient and has been very stable in our tests. Efficient means it uses less of your server to run. It's a good thing. The rt2 will not load on game build 2944 so 3095+ is required and we recommend 3095 and is the build we test on.
